Cowboy Aviation Services LP was organized as a limited partnership under the laws of Texas in 2007 with one airplane, a couple of pilots and a goal of creating affordable air-charter on the West Side of the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex.
So where do we fly? We currently offer low cost, short range, on demand air charter services to just about anywhere within 300 air miles of Fort Worth TX. Soon, and I mean soon, we'll add additional airplanes to our air-carrier certificate to meet the needs of those who travel outside of the 300 mile range. Stay tuned as we move ahead with our plans.
We currently offer a Piper Seneca II for air charter. The Seneca II is a twin engine airplane built by Piper Aircraft Corporation. This particular model has turbo charged engines and is capable of flying over 800 miles non-stop.This airplane is equipped with 5 passenger seats and considered by many to be one of the most reliable smaller twin engine airplanes with turbo charged engines.
Typical cruise speeds ranges from 140 MPH to165 MPH depending on cargo and passenger weight. At these speeds, Houston is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Fort Worth area; Austin is approximately 45 minutes and Shreveport about 50 minutes.
Our pilots are fully qualified under Federal Aviation Regulations Part 135 and must maintain their currency/proficiency in the Seneca II by completing successfully, a flight check with an FAA Inspector every 6 months. The Seneca II is maintained by FAA certified maintenance personnel.
Why Charter? It's simple. Time is a non-renewable resource. If you want to save time, Charter! If time is not a consideration, drive. It's really that simple.
With fuel prices changing almost daily, we are not in a position
to quote firm prices beyond 10 days. Our trip estimator can give
you an idea of the cost. It's not the final authority.
You'll have to call for an exact cost!
We do not accept cash for our services. You must pay by credit card or check. A non-refundable booking fee is collected when you book your flight. The balance is due prior to the flight. The non-refundable booking fee is 10% of the actual charter cost and will be credited to your total cost at the time of full payment. Pretty simple!
Cowboy Aviation Services LP does not accept any financial responsibility for delays caused by weather or unexpected aircraft maintenance. We will assist in getting you to your destination and/or to originating departure airport.
